Investing in a Thriving Community

Aware Environment Fund

AWARE Logo ColourThe AWARE Environment endowment fund was established in 2003 by the board of directors of AWARE in order to support the operations of AWARE.

The fund consists of principal that is invested over the long term. The interest earned on the fund each year goes to support AWARE. The AWARE Environmental Fund is invested in our Socially Responsible Investment account.

Gifts to the fund are placed into the investment, creating a permanent source of support for AWARE, helping them do good work forever. It's a simple way to build income for AWARE.

The fund is professionally managed and overseen by the Community Foundation of Whistler.

Donors can leave a bequest to AWARE through the Community Foundation of Whistler, creating a personal legacy that will benefit AWARE for all the years to come.
