1459732 403562463107821 1671567990 NThe Whistler Adaptive Sports Program endowment fund was established in 2007 by the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program Society in order to support the operations of Whistler Adaptive Sports Program.

The fund consists of principal that is invested over the long term. The interest earned on the fund each year goes to support Whistler Adaptive Sports Program. The Whistler Adaptive Sports Fund is invested in our Socially Responsible Investment account.

Gifts to the fund are placed into the investment, creating a permanent source of support for Whistler Adaptive Sports, helping them do good work forever. It's a simple way to build income for a much-loved local charity.

The fund is professionally managed and overseen by the Community Foundation of Whistler.

Donors can leave a bequest to Whistler Adaptive Sports Program Society through the Community Foundation of Whistler, creating a personal legacy that will benefit Whistler Adaptive Sports for all the years to come.

 

Joern Rodhe WASPThe Whistler Adaptive Sports Program is a not-for-profit society that provides year-round recreational programs for people of all ages with disabilities. Whistler Adaptive is a centre for learning and sports excellence that has a local, regional, national, and international clientele and encourgages independence, self-confidence and self-motivation for all athletes and participants through outdoor activity. Their programs are available to all locals, visitors from acorss Canada and anyone travelling to Whistler from across the globe.

By supporting sport for life, Whistler Adaptive breaks down physical, social and financial barriers, as well as helping to cultivate skills that lead to independence and confidence. Whistler Adaptive is committed to developing athletes at the grassroots level of the sporting career through to their podium position, and aims to introduce as many individuals with a disability as possible to sport, recreation and therapeutic programming. Their vision is to make alpine recreation in any form accessible to everyone.
