Zero Ceiling operates the Work 2 Live Program that provides participants with employment, housing and support, offering experiences that help them build the foundations for independent lives full of purpose and passion. Zero Ceiling also provides short-term visit programs that give participants the joyful and life-affirming experience of outdoor Whistler adventures such as snowboarding, biking, ziptreking and whitewater rafting.
A grant from the Jill Ackhurst Social Action Fund helped to support the 2011-2012 Work 2 Live Program's efforts to provide participants with Life Skills Workshops. Participants learned about cooking and nutrition, banking, budgeting, goal-setting, creating a resume, and filing taxes. The youth also took park in a voluntere program which introduced them to local non-profits and the importance of giving back to the community.
